How much does bathtub refinishing cost?
A standard tub is $599 in white or black. Tub plus the three tiled walls around it is $1,349. See the full price list above — every price is confirmed from your photo before we book.
How long does the finish last?
15–20 years with normal use. The Pour-On coat is 1.5 mm thick — about ten times a sprayed coat — so it does not wear through at the drain or under a bath mat.
Does it smell? Do I need to leave the apartment?
No. Pour-On enamel is near-zero VOC and almost odorless. There is no spray mist and no dust, so you can stay home while we work.
Is it safe for children and pets?
Yes. With near-zero VOC there are no solvent fumes building up in the apartment. We still ask that kids and pets stay out of the bathroom until the tub is ready the next day.
When can I use the tub again?
24 hours after we finish. We are in and out in 3–4 hours; the next day you fill the tub and use it normally.
Is there a warranty?
Yes. Every job comes with a written warranty against peeling and bonding failure. The term is stated in your quote. See Warranty.
What colors are available?
Tubs, shower bases and floors come in white or black. Walls and tub surrounds can be any color from our sample palette — we bring the samples with us.
What types of tubs can you refinish?
Cast iron, enameled steel, acrylic and fiberglass tubs, plus ceramic tile and fiberglass shower stalls. Clawfoot or built-in. Chips, rust and cracks are repaired first.
How do I care for a refinished tub?
Clean with any non-abrasive bathroom cleaner and a soft sponge. Avoid scouring powders and steel wool. Suction-cup mats and a dripping faucet are fine. Full guide: Care & Maintenance.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes — OXYN is licensed and fully insured to work in NYC apartments, co-ops and commercial buildings. Certificates of insurance are available for your management company on request.
